Android System WebView allows applications to display browser windows within an app rather than navigating the user to another browser. It is a web browser engine or an embedded web browser that is solely dedicated to displaying web content in apps. WebView is used by Android developers to display webpages in a Google app or another application. Most Android smartphones come with the Android System WebView app pre-installed. As a result, any developer who uses it to render internet content within their app can do so without fear of compatibility issues.
This app is the Beta version of Android System WebView, which is updated weekly.
